http://money.msn.com/business-news/arti ... d=17924543 Quote: The company ended the second quarter with $30.5 million in cash and $658.0 million in debt, which matures between 2018 and 2019. but hey, if they file for bankruptcy we ALL get to pay for all that shit we never wanted to buy! |

I'm surprised they didn't go away sooner. Why would anybody ever need to go there? |

I went there last November so I could get an international electrical outlet converter. It worked great on my trip to Australia. |

I went there a couple of months ago because I needed a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter in a pinch. They didn't have it. Half the store was filled with cell phones and accessories. The store existed to fill a niche for hard-to-find adapters and they didn't have it. Good riddance... |

this was my exact situation. Happened three times, stuff they used to carry and I walked in on three separate occasions for three separate things, which they told me they could order online. Too bad, I need it today. I can operate a computer. Bad business model. |

That is biggest issue for me. Random electronic components now will only be online and require shipping costs I am sure. |

I assume that some of this stuff can be made with 3D printing and the question is will it ever be feasible. maybe you need a $2 part right away. You can wait 3-5 days or you can go to the Radio Shack 3D store and get one in an hour for $20.00. check out this mini castle a guy made with his 3D printer. Basically made lego like blocks and as they finished he just assembled the thing. Took him 2 months to print everything and it cost him $200 in material. Assembly took only 2 days, but who knows how many people, still once the pieces are made, seems pretty damn easy. |

Kramer (CNBC) has been putting that into the crash stock for years and years. There is no doubt it is ultra cool and can be a game changer, but to what exactly? Lets say legos gets a product line where they sell the CAD file of a piece, like a batmobile, yeah i can see that selling and I know some people print out bracelets and wearables, but it still takes time and money to do. Even that cool castle. Who is spending 2 months printing shit out. the concept is far from new at this point, prices are coming down, but the question still remains, what does it get you? Pitt what do you use it for at your work/office/etc? |

Before we got this a single plug is $250. We use 100 a year? There is more of that sort of thing. |
