What are the main factors you used to determine your rankings? |

One might think if you went from Texas, to NM, to AZ to NV...the land, sites, people, weather are very similar, thus unless you have been to Houston, Santa Fe, Phoenix and Las Vegas...the similarities would make you rank them in the same range...i.e. 29-33? |

I think West Virginia at 36 is a bit high...but at 41 is probably correct... |

Santa Fe > Flagstaff > Tucson > Phoenix > Any city in Texas (expect Austin, which is better than Phoenix.) |

I want to see CH's list. He has a distinct hatred for much of America. |

I've been to 48 states...yet to hit Vermont or Alaska More or less I'm on board with that list. Arkansas is the worst fucking place. horrible. NM is much different than TX, AZ. |

If you know nothing about Delaware, you know all there is to know about Delaware. |

that's an easy cheap shot. you don't know anything about north dakota, either. indiana is the real deal. it begs for apocalypse. |

the delaware beaches are pretty cool in the summer. some fun crabshacks over there. |

i would recommend jersey beaches over delaware's, outside of bethany. the beach is one of only two reasons to go to new jersey. the other is to get to new york. |

W of Minot it's a oilfield, E of Minot it's a poor imitation of Minnesota. Minot itself is where a lot of nuclear weapons live. The people there are mostly gold rushing former military who are eternally pissed they never got to kill anyone while in the service. Grand Forks is OK. |

Delaware probably has the least appealing oceanfront of any state. Think about it. Maybe Texas is worse, but that's it. |

Grand Forks is OK. it's like a lot of states like that. you pick your spots and it's pretty nice. delaware also has some great golf courses. |

Yea but pick your spots in ND vs pick your spots in, say, WY. At least WY has Yellowstone, Tetons and Jackson Hole. |

Wyoming way too low at 23. I drove through most of the states and I found Wyoming the prettiest. Plus Cody is a really cool old timey town. South Dakota also too low. Lots of cool stuff to see there, Rushmore, Devil's Mountain, Badlands, Deadwood, Wall Drug!. |

Wyoming's greatest strength (it's empty) is simultaneously it's greatest weakness (it's seriously fucking empty). Jackson, Laramie and a couple other little towns are fun but Rawlins, Rock Springs, Casper, Cheyenne... yyeeeesh. |
