400 VC guys coming into Chicago for the week and weekend. This is how you create commerce in a city to create revenue, taxes, spending, positive absorption of houses/condos. This is Rahms doing. does he get credit for this? What other mayoral hopeful would even come close to organizing this? |

I'm sorry, having JB Pritzker at the helm suggests that he, not Rahm has just a bit more to do with this. |

I agree it helps, but I am surprised at the level of denial of how hard the guy has worked to create a tech industry in Chicago, this is just an extension of that. Rahm is the mayor, he isnt going to be at the helm of the project, but a number of those attending are people he is connected to as well. |

I know many cases of guys who if not for the money might not have ever had a date, yet alone getting married. Will admit as a young'in didnt think the "Gold digging" was as real as it is. No matter what level of society. 20/20 report...Google it up, probably can find the show. Scenario 1 - STU is a 4'11" Venture capitalist with 3 homes (Miami, NYC, Aspen) worth over $300 mill. 5 girls rate him on scale of 1-5....I think he got no less than a 3..some 4's and a 5. (5 being highest) Scenario 2 - STU is a 4'11" unemployed actor, struggling to make ends meet and is working temp jobs to support himself. a new set of 5 girls....nothing higher than a 2 Stu is actually a friend of mine, now in LA still trying to be a an actor. Maybe you remember him from his most famous Chicago role of playing the guy who likes to eat crap taken from the portapotties from attractive men, as a featured character on the Mancows Morning Madhouse program. |
