http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/isl ... ar-BB9znzB Quote: "We don’t have any operational reporting of ISIL flying jets in support of ISIL activity on the ground and so I cannot confirm that. And to the degree that pilots may have defected and joined the ranks of ISIL, I don’t have any information on that either," he told a Pentagon news briefing. if the military is saying they don't, you know they do. i cant wait for the first video of a F22 blowing the shit out of a mig in the sky lol |

definitely. but can you imagine how excited some of our pilots must be? i would imagine they are drooling at the thought. they havent seen any action in... i dont even know. i mean, dropping bombs and flying recon missions isnt exactly dogfighting. we also made that ridiculously expensive f22 specifically to shoot down other planes. now, it actually isnt the best dog fighter- it doesnt need to be because it can shoot down planes before the enemy even knows its out there. miles away. so maybe it wouldnt be an exciting fight... honestly there is no way it would be but still... just to be that guy who aims and pulls the trigger while watching an enemy plane blow up i bet would be cool as hell. |

If it isn't the best it's close, still hyper-maneuverable with vectored thrust and very powerful engines. This is an excellent excuse to impose a no-fly zone. |

well in any case, its a badass death machine. while it is a shame it doesnt get used, thats also not a problem to worry about. |
