While crowdfunding is currently all the rage, a 19-year-old girl in Shanghai found a unique way to raise money for her trip around China: Accepting cash in return for sex.
The teen, whose name is Ju Peng, posted an ad on Weibo (basically Chinese Facebook) looking for "temporary boyfriends" who can "fund my transport to their city and all my expenses while I am there and they need to be generous." If the man is willing to go for this then "in return, they get a whole night with me, my undivided attention, and a chance to show themselves off in the company of a truly beautiful girl."
Some may say this is simply prostitution, but they would be wrong. Unlike a "lady of the night," Peng's instituted very strict rules for any man who wants the privilege of her company. Her "temporary boyfriends" must be "good looking, under 30, taller than 1.75 meters and, of course, rich." Can you blame her? Who would want to be seen with a 32-year-old with only moderate wealth?
At the end of the ad, Peng writes, "It is sort of like hitchhiking. It's nothing to be ashamed of." Someone should probably tell her that 75% of horror movies begin with a teenage girl hitchhiking.
