sometimes i pop one and forget moments later if i ate one or not so i have to eat another and a few hours later i realize i had too many. my tax return will be $6565! no, wait, i dont have kids. its $1k. i had a real bad argument with a guy who i told him "your tax returns pay for diapers" because he was saying i have no idea how much diapers cost. well i did some quick googling and it seems moms spend about $40 a month of their husbands money so they dont have to deal with cloth diapers. $500 a year and this asshole is saying im a dumb piece of shit because his $6k tax return doesnt pay for nearly enough to raise his kids. oh he also had a wife that works too so he had two incomes. the guy was a fuckin idiot

am i right though? people tell me tax breaks dont cover all their diapers. but you get $1500 a year per kid MINIMUM, and the highest estimates with the most expensive diapers i can find are $1k a year. am i missing something here?

and thats not even arguing the point that if they cant afford diapers they should use cloth. my mom did. its not as nice as disposable but you were the one who had a kid without financial backing....

Children have a lot of costs in addition to diapers. Why don't you get that girl in your avatar pregnant and find out what it's like raising children?

yeah, i was gonna say...aren't kids expensive?

I mean, my parents did well and spoiled the shit out of us...(probably b/c they didn't have anything growing up).

But still, I'd guess that a kid or two costs more than $6k a year.

Hell I spend that in about 4 months on 1.

you guys dont understand the argument.

i told the fat fuck that diapers are paid for by tax refunds for owning the kid

he said that doesnt nearly cover the diapers.

i want to know if im right or if he was just eating all his tax returns and complaining his free money isnt enough.

boss ran home (across the street) at 1pm to grab a couple things

its now 4pm

this happens all the time and he will come back 1/2 hour before the end of the day and want to talk for hours about everything we needed to talk about during when he should have been here.

you know what? tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day and i think there isnt a chance in hell im coming into work. if he worries about stuff needing to be done he should have been here during the week. god dammit this happens so fucking often you guys dont even know. i would say at least twice a week.

A new job is an excellent option, Ike. What do you do while the boss is away? Clash of Clans is a quick download.

i do what i can, i really do. there is always little things to be done, but were not making enough money to really give a shit about keeping busy. we need to produce and find new revenues of income, and i keep finding and feeding him leads and then he pulls this shit where hes gone all day and only has some weak excuse for it.

i knew this would be an ongoing problem about 9 months ago when i took a cold call and created a relationship with a company that was very interested in distributing our products. i repeatedly tried to get the boss to call them back for 3 months. to this day he never has.

i am actively looking for a new job. i happen to have a contact that claims he can get me in a local IT company that is very tough to get into (hes long time friends with the CEO). I wont get hired on my creds alone, I need to kill the interview and he will call them at that point to seal the deal he says. It will be a local 9-5 job, no weekends and my responsibilities will be clearly defined.

if that doesnt pan out, there is a production company in LA that i could probably get into based on creds alone. it would be a very similar position to what i have now, but i think they would hire me because of my experience and lack of family. I say that because I would be traveling all over the country to help manage large scale productions... these guys do the big events- like concerts, promotions and specialized events. think of that bud light 'anytown usa' promotion. i would be out there helping create the town.

in any case, im not worried... it just pisses me off because when i signed up with this guy a year ago i really thought it would go somewhere. he has everything he needs to rocketship this company, but i swear to god he simply doesn't want to make money.... if that makes any sense

Ike is correct. People should be taxed more for having kids and putting the additional strain on society. I should get $20,000 for having a vasectomy.

This is a great idea...Especially if you don't want (or can't have) kids...

ike bitching about a $1500 tax write off "for diapers", yet he probably spends 2-3 times that amount on weed every year.
