An email from Governor Walker’s press secretary says the governor opposes the legislation.

“(Marijuana) is a gateway drug and Governor Walker has also heard from law enforcement professionals who have significant concerns about the impact of legalizing this drug,” said Laurel Patrick.

even if you have a clean record, you must now interview in person with the state office before you can get food stamps. i can only imagine what that is like. 'hi, i am a person' 'ok, heres your food stamps, thanks for driving an hour to our office'

and they also cut the food stamps for people out of work more than 3 months, unless you go to a job training program.

i went to one of those training programs a few years ago when i was on unemployment, it was so far beyond ridiculous i almost walked out. it was all about what you should wear to an interview, dont show your tatoos, smile nice and learn how to shake someones hand and maybe youll get a job serving tables somewhere. i was sitting in that 'class' with a 5 year ac/dc theory degree and over 10k hours of credited professional work experience, but they made me go to that because it was my fault for not finding a job right away after being laid off due to THEIR lack of proper governing.

yet, the best part is- most of wisconsin is rural conservative and they LOVE all this shit. they made their money when the economy was great and they believe it was simply their 'hard work' that paid their way. people are so fucking stupid it is beyond my comprehension.
