Y'know today is one of the days. I just feel it.

So, anyone want to share their Mother's Day plans?

I'm volunteering at my church for a Mother's Day concert/luncheon they're holding.

It's my last day before my 2-week "vacation." We're having a baby next Wednesday. Shit's getting real. So yeah, KW, I'm with you in the Penske boat. I finished a couple audits that I've had open since last year, so smooth sailing.

Taco Bell breakfast and a bouquet of freshly picked dandelions.

Seriously,I always offer to take my wife to the nicest brunch but it seems we always end up back at her mom's house.

The freezer door was left open last night and everything had to be pitched. :-x

I am on cloud 9 as the Tories won a decisive victory in the UK elections yesterday. Long live David Cameron.

that pisses me off to no end. never left the freezer open, but sometimes i leave milk on the counter... or i cook a nice meal, eat one dish and forget to take pan off the stove and it just sat there all night and i just cant bare to think about eating it at that point. then the thought goes through my mind.. 'yea, that was like a $6 dinner bowl i ate last night.'

were there any french fries or veggies in the freezer? probably can save those....

This morning has felt very Penske File-ish. I really need to get some work done before the weekend though. No Mother's Day plans. My mom lives
1000 miles away and the fiancée's kids are with their dad out of state this weekend. I'll try to do something nice for her Sunday. Hoping to plant
flowers and my garden this weekend.

Mother's Day is the most challenging day of the year for me. Co-ordinating everything for my wife and own mother. I dread it honestly.

Working downtown in the summertime in Chicago has to be the greatest thing ever. Trying to leave early so I can simply walk around.

Yes, Bonertown indeed. And it's Casual Friday so they have on dresses. I might even catch Good Dolphin with his mirror shoes.

I must agree with you on that spmack. I walked around for 30 minutes the other day for the hell of it.

Mother's Day - cook breakfast for the wife. Take my mom out for a late lunch and spend time with her. Since my old man died, we've been working on getting her moved. Time to really start working on that.

The Blue Line is my normal commute, but on days like yesterday, I enjoy taking the Green Line home, and walking the extra 6-7 blocks.

Commendable man you are Vince. :D

By the way, in the Man O War tomorrow, go with the the 2 Hyper. Don't think he stays at 10-1.

Mom just got out out of the hospital yesterday. I think Father Time is catching up to her. We'll hang out with her Sunday because I don't think she'll be up for going out. We'll see.

My dad is in and out of the hospital on a monthly basis it seems. My mother takes care of him full-time now. Exhausting job. Life is never easy for most people.

It's sobering knowing the end is coming. My mom has had a very healthy life and now it's old age rearing it's head.

Good luck with Dad, Hatchetman.

You too with your mom. I call them every night and its draining just to hear how miserable my mother is and how deteriorated my dad is. All my dad's friends and relatives are dead. He's got nobody to talk to but me and my mom.
