Somebody here worked in a meat factory. He has stories, I'm sure.

between the way they treat the animals, and the fact that meat farms produce more greenhouse gasses in the world than CARS, it really does make it easier to just say no at the deli.

4th of july, and other holidays, sure lets eat. but most days i happily walk to the veggies and find what looks fresh.

I buy mostly humanely and sustainably raised animal products. I wish more people took an interest in food and demanded more of companies and our gov.

same, but not always because i do question if im paying extra for animals that were actually treated better or not.

i wish we had a lot better oversight on our food... the Europeans do it...

as having watched quite a few documentaries about different species of animals, and their behavior... its pretty clear to me they are no different than humans besides their language. some of the stuff about dolphins, black crows and apes/chimps is astonishing... they do have emotions and they do have long term memories. the more you learn the more compassion you have for all animals.
