I dated an opera singer in college who explained to me the way you can tell real singers vs. fake singers is that real singers get bigger as they get older b/c their ribcages expand to make room for the amount of air in their lungs for their 'instrument' (her words). She said that's why pop singers who can really sing like the one above, and at the time she said Mariah Carey and Christina Aguliera will probably get heavier because they do sing. While their may be some validity to that theory, I really think she wanted to justify eating and not exercising the way she did. Yes, I broke up with her |

Keep in mind that some women will hag-out naturally -- oftentimes it's in their genes and no one's fault. This is why so many females quit acting as they get older -- the hotness factor evaporates. Look at Sally Struthers, once extremely hot. No changes in diet or exercise would've been enough to prevent how she's become. |
