so grandma was sitting on the couch looking completely bored to death. even asked for the advertisement papers in the little black box next to the mailbox so she can read them.

actually felt bad, so i fired up an online stream of foxnews. she about hit the roof. i gave her the remote to show her how to turn it off and headed to the door.

she asked 'how do i change the channels?'

i replied 'you cant, its not cable'.

'what? this is a cable channel'

'i know. its from the internet. youre not paying for this'

'so i cant change the channel? thats kinda dumb'

me- "well you can buy cable if you want to change channels"

'why would i buy it if its right here now?'

'nevermind grandma i need to go'

'what?'

i need to go work on stuff. just use the remote to turn it off'

'huh'?

"JUST USE THE REMOTE TO TURN IT OFF. I GOTTA GO"
