It's ok overall. Elevated by Ta-Nehisi Coates, who is probably the single best writer in America right now. |

It's quite nice to have a consistent repository of articles, stories, and examinations not written either by some shitty AI or an eight-grader. More often than not, you'll find something to chew through. |

Mostly good, but doesn't feel like it has a clear voice to it (given how I bitch about Gawker's clear voice, maybe this is good?). These days I just see it as a great big repository of good online writing, like Thought Catalog for grown-ups. |

Really narrow perspective though--he subjugates his human identity to his racial identity. I'll take Jim Fallows any day. I'm a middle-aged white guy though. |
