Scott and Elsa Wyskocil of Los Angeles took the 10-pound dog for a wash and trim last year, but Curly never made it home. He died after being placed in a hot dryer at C&C Pet Food for Less' grooming business, his internal temperature topping 109 degrees an hour after his death, documents show.

That's one way to get a hot dog.

I don't know, my husband spends a good amount of money on our dog. He got one for me instead of having another kid. I'd be inconsolable if something happened to her. It would not be a favor to him.

10 pound dogs? fringing on the definition of a dog.

My dog weighs 95 pounds, fringing on the definition of an ox.

Our 90 pound 9 year old Golden Retriever is like our 4th child. He is slowing down & I will miss him dearly when he is gone.

Mine is 4 and I see the slow down. She is not quite what I expected...I love her, she's the best.

4 years old is early to notice a slow down. Sorry to hear that. We are on our 4th golden...we have had at least 1 golden since we were married in 1983...but Mrs. Scorehead & I have decided that Wrigley is our last as we want to travel & look forward to no more dog hair drifting through the house. We shall see how long we can go without a dog.

She was a lunatic the first 3 years. I think it will be our only dog. I can't see getting one after her.

Goldens are crazy destructive puppies. Crate training is the only way to go. But they are also very very easy to train. They learn quickly & remember what they learn.

You can specifically tell your groomer to not use an automatic dryer. If they do not give you that option, its time to find another groomer or use one that comes to your home and does the work.

Never met someone who didn't like dogs who wasn't a rotten human being.

Our two's combined weight is barely ten lbs. Guess I won't be inviting you over!

Does your "husband" go by the name "Caitlyn"?

Ike and Bernstein. I'd say his theory is batting 1.000.
