Somehow I now have 3 cars with this motor. 2 of em I paid less than 2K for.
A tune-up and they hum along fine, getting 30 MPH on the freeway, non-cramped interiors
and plenty of power:

ok.. first, watercooled turbos.. yeah, that will work just great. until your engine leaks and ruins the turbos the first time it happens. you think head gaskets were expensive... then we have haptic accelerator. this is going to make you think something is wrong with your car, but it isnt, its just the pedal jerking around 'so you know' when to shift. uh huh. i didnt realize it was that hard to feel when the engine stops pulling... mechanics helper- or in other words, mechanics nightmare because its basically an android app that will make retards think they can fix their cars into a state that makes it way harder for real mechanics to actually fix it. last we have the best- engine vibes. these are actual resonant drivers built into the car to simulate engine vibrations. yes, they are going to sell you a 4 banger car that has expensive piston dampers and motor mounts so the engine runs like a sewing machine, then on top of that they are going to include (FOR FREE!) what will basically be subwoofers that dont produce sound waves, just vibrations that will make you feel that engine rumble that they took out in the design. sound confusing? well its not, because now you can 'feel' the v8 power of your 1.6 litre straight sideways 4 cylinder!!!! wow!!!! im sure everyone will notice!!! and why are they really doing this? because all these models of cars they will be selling you will BE THE SAME FUCKING THING, FROM FORD TO CHEVY TO TOYOTA, AND THE ONLY GOD DAMN DIFFERENCE WILL BE THE MP3 FILE THEY DOWNLOAD TO DRIVE THE RESONANT FREQUENCY DRIVERS. yes, nascar performance on your zx2!!!! my fucking god. can we just get autodrive cars already and forget all this shit? i dont even want to own this crap, i want it to say "obamacar" on the side, and the piece of shit just comes to me by itself when i text it. i dont care if it has 4 cylinders or 40, just take me home when im drunk you egg shaped piece of shit. http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/connecte ... lots of cars had the 3800 series II... overall pretty easy to work on aside from the cramped frames they were put into. tough little motors too. im partial to my 4.0 ohv ford though. god damn motor never quits. |

That 3.8 is a great engine ..I've had two Buicks with one ..they run forever . Cars will be driverless in ten years ..I believe ...electric ? Maybe or hydrogen maybe . |

theyll be electric if elon/panasonic is successful at making the nevada plant work like they want it to. if not, it might be a bit longer before electric is mass adopted.. even with cheaper lithium batteries, we still need a breakthrough in electricity storage. |

I had a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville with the 3800. It threw a rod in Peoria at 137K. I loved the car so much I had a rebuilt 3800 put in it and got another 75K out of it. |
