Is this your thing now to just post about all of the different things that happen to people?

Only when cops are involved.

Wouldn't be much of a message board if we only posted about all of the different things that happen to objects.

To be honest, it is no complaint just seems like he has posted more of them lately. To each their own, post what you feel like.

Of course. I don't think many people understand how often some police officers abuse their power. These things happen often and if it wasn't for video we would always believe the officers. This guy did absolutely nothing wrong and his life was threatened. Could have been any of us.

It just seems that you are posting more and more, and the second part I answered in my other post.

We all realize what a cruel and unfair world it is. People in power have always and will always abuse it. Videos and and Internet have only made that more obvious to everyone. However, it's not just people in power. There are endless stories of people doing bad things every day. It says a lot about the human race.

I only post the national stories (a total of 3 in 2 weeks). For the previous 2 I waited until I saw video evidence. Both had been in the news but most people weren't aware.

For a guy that claims not to like government you make an awful lot of excuses for their abuses of power. Just an observation.

Then maybe my seeming was incorrect.

We should all be aware of police misconduct when it happens.

You mistake my belief for the rule of law as making excuses for those that enforce it. I am not an anarchist, but rather a believer is limited government.

And that kid was a Dr. Who scarf wearing indoor boy who obviously posed no threat to the over-aggressive off-duty cop.

I don't think the average middle class white guy understands that a black dude has every right to feel like he might be killed as soon as he sees flashing blue lights come up behind him.

You don't have to think it, that is fact. The constant victim blaming done in society is proof. Look how much goes on here, on this very board. Too many people go out of their way to justify indefensible actions from the cops. It starts with the media, making sure that they point out that victim might have been a bad student, or smoked some pot recently. But, that guy was selling loose cigarettes.

I think officers are comfortable doing this because the public allows it and they've gotten away with it for so long.

I think this is a veiled shot at Curious Hair but I may be wrong on this also. Now I have done it a second time.

I think criminals are comfortable killing innocent people in Chicago because the public allows it, and they've gotten away with it for so long.

Not if body cams become more prevalent.
