Dont know if it really is coming in September, but Markets are sure reflecting it this morning. While Yellen seems like my dead Aunt Syd, I would think she doesnt like it when others project or almost tell her what to do, thus this "built in" expectation will be very interesting if she feels it has been leaked or that she is being bullied in anyway. |

At this point I don't think it's about what economic impact, if any, a tiny increase will have (I've even seen 1/8 of a point bandied about), but rather that the Fed needs to gain some credibility. I will disagree with RPB in that I think the markets will go nuts when and if it finally happens. |

I'm at 4 7/8 now on an FHA. I'm stuck with too much debt to re-finance until end of February. Hoping the increase is limited until then...but do agree it's needed. |

You should be able to do an FHA streamline right now...debt doesn't matter with a streamline as long as you've been current the last 12 months. |

If you put 30% down and do a 15yr theres little need to worry about the interest rate. It will be many years before it goes above 5% |
