Ever been? I was pretty underwhelmed. Lot of old dusty crap in displays likely unchanged since 1957. Way to make baseball seem even more boring than it is!

Noticed JR donated between $10,000 and $24,999 this year. Didn't see Rickets but maybe he prefers to be anonymous.

High point: no photos or any memorabilia from the steroid guys. other than the Bonds home run record ball that somebody glued a big asterisk on and donated to the Hall. LOL.

IMO, if you ever get the opportunity to go....PASS.

Kind of surprised, never heard anyone say anything bad about the actual destination. Getting there, I have seen is a pain in the ass.

Once heard a member of the board claim they only display 10% of what they have.

mebbe because I love baseball so much, I think it could have been much cooler. there's virtually no interactive stuff. no videos, no simulations. just a bunch of old crap behind glass. Barry Rozner's beer vending uniform. LOL. no I am not kidding.

Do the 2005 White Sox have a special room?

How about a room for the 1919 Sox?

The Chicago White Sox:The franchise that almost destroyed the game!

Back in 2000 or 2001 I was living in West Virginia for work and had a buddy working up in Saratoga, NY. I took a weekend and headed up there. On
the way back I went a little out of my way and saw the Baseball Hall of Fame. I don't really remember that much about it now but it was a quaint little
town and the museum was well done from what I recall. I went through it pretty quickly since I still had about 6 hours in the car left on the trip back.
Saw Shoeless Joes cleats, a bunch of plaques from some Cubs I wanted to see.

We were there last month. I'm glad we went. It was much smaller than I expected though.

We really enjoyed going to Doubleday Field, where the first game ever was played. The kids jumped the fence and ran around until until the caretaker came out and threatened to have them arrested.

I find it funny that people can get all worked up about who gets in/doesn't get in to the HOF. the whole vibe there is very Boy-Scouty, for lack of a better term. its all about try-hardi and do-goodiness.

Pete Rose and those other cheaters absolutely do not belong in this particular club. somebody else should start there own club.

remember the guy that did those old Pepperidge Farm commercials? the old guy with the new England accent? that guy and his buddies are docents.

there's a little exhibit on eating right by Ryne Sandberg!

The "Famous Fans" exhibit should have had Andy the Clown.
