I didn't have a problem with the party change thing. He's been a traditional New England liberal Republican and the party abandoned him. Fair enough. But after sounding genial and reasonable all night, the Glass-Steagall questioning made him seem like a complete buffoon.

Dont need a President

Well, he was pretty much saying he made an uniformed vote, or voted the way his father would have, or went along with the party line. I can understand why some people wouldn't want a president who would make a vote that way and that's totally fair, I would submit that you got real honesty from him that you aren't going to get from a single one of these other goofs.

Speaking as someone who knows him as an acquaintance, he's a real guy, super smart, honest, and someone who never wanted to accept a silver spoon. He switched parties because the Republicans don't reflect his values. We could do- and have done- a lot worse at president.

I know he's busting my balls about my opinion on managers, but seriously, I don't think it does matter to most of us who the president is. Has any president ever changed your life?

One could argue that George W Bush ignoring intelligence suggesting an attack was coming, changed all of our lives forever.
