I think the war would be great and ratings would come away from SCR. Face it young people really are not flocking to sports talk radio. Keeping and stealing existing listeners is the way to go. Like beer sales we are stagnant. |

In the past I would think they would not get along on a long term basis. However, the new, IDGAF Mac seems happy to sit in the corner and talk only when pointed to. But he would have to watch at least some sports. Traditions still have a TV in the bar? |

Mac & North would be the must listen to show of the day. Doesn't matter what station or time slot, they would be winners... period. Nobody under 30 gives a damn about regular radio let alone middle aged sports yakkers like Mac & North. They would draw the demographic that is thirsty for regular guy sports talk. The majority of the CSFMB. Why The Game didn't go after these guys is still a mystery to me. Love them or hate them, Mac & North would be a home run. I'll hang up and listen to me get bashed... |
