The photo is heartbreaking with the boy's face down in the sand, but he is in a better place now with God. People should realize that. You might ask "Well, why did God let him die?" It wasn't anything that God did or didn't do that caused him to die. You might as well be asking the question, "Why does God let evil happen?" Evil might have it's way for a time, but good always triumphs in the end. Did people at the time ever think that Hitler could be defeated after he conquered Europe? None of the wicked ever escape God's judgment. Though we can't always fathom what it is, there is a time for every purpose under Heaven (Eccl 3:1) |

I found this in the comments section of a NYT article regarding the migrant situation in Europe: The rest of the world must be looking on in utter amazement at how Europe is voluntarily destroying its culture and quality of life. It is telling that these migrants are making a beeline for the countries with the most generous social safety nets. They claim to be escaping war but pass through several peaceful, stable countries as they arrogantly demand to be admitted to their country of choice. European leaders seem blithely indifferent to the fact that most of these migrants will abhor western values like gay rights, women's rights and freedom of the press (Charlie Hebdo, anyone?). Indeed they will resent their host countries while draining them dry. Things are going to get ugly. |

I'm sure JORR expected them to say how much they love Israel and he also expects Israel to say how much they love Iran. |

As none of us were in the actual meetings held, from all reports it was a negotiation that we got nothing, they got most eveything they wanted. It was like we had Jim Hendry at the table... |

Was the family even fleeing from violence in Syria? The father lived in Turkey for 3 years and had a job. Looks like this is going to be used to flood Europe with even more third world transplants and to renew the call for war against Assad. Europe is in a really bad place now, they can't afford the refugees in a fiscal or cultural sense, they couldn't afford them several years ago and they certainly can't now. The vast social welfare nets are the reason and those supports are stretched to the breaking point. The power elite sit in their penthouses and heavily guarded offices while they make these decisions. All the while a festering wound gets further infected, once those "moderates" that only want a "safer" home (and free checks from the government) won't assimilate and will be "moderate" until they have the numbers/political sway and then things go from bad to worse. How many are already radicalized? Big right wing, nationalistic swing in the future for Europe. It has already started. Social unrest, violence, etc is definitely in the cards. Big picture: Sweden is finished, France isn't far behind, England isn't far behind France and the German elite are having good success destroying themselves. It's going to get really, really interesting in the near future. |

The point is no one should expect them to say anything different even if they don't actually believe it. |

Arn't these guys running from a fight that everyone wants us to get involved in? It is a messed up situation. Allow the women, children and elderly. The men send back to the training camps for the fighters we are paying for.If not then I say cut off all aid to these cowards. If they do not want to fight for themselves then why should we do it for them. Plus,do not allow then asylum. It should be for people who are trying not just for people who see a better way of life and instead of trying to make it where they live just go and basically steal one from someplace else. Once again, go read"While Europe Slept." I like the response Israel gave when asked if they would allow any of these yellow cowards in,"no". Why does Europe have to take all these people? Why can't Saudi Arabia or the Gulf States? They are right beyond belief with oil money? Isn't one of the pillars of Islam Charity? |
