Post subject:  Draft Kings is taking over the world

You can't listen to sports radio or watch a sporting event without hearing a commercial.
I know this argument has been made a million times about skill / luck but I don't see how this isn't gambling?
I'm not complaining, I love to gamble on sports and look forward to the day when it's legal and uncle Sam can get a cut as opposed to the Euro trash.

Having said that, does anyone have a review of the entertainment / investment opportunities on Draft Kings?
Is Draft Kings, Fan Duel or something else better.

Fezzik was on a podcast recently. Pointed out that Draft Kings.Fan Duel/et al is currently a bubble akin to online poker last decade--a few sharps taking the money of all the suckers, like this guy:

of course, the 538 guy, who makes a living ripping off other people's work [Silver's Presidential election outcome predictions precisely tracked Real Clear Politics poll aggregation tracker...] immediately fired up excel and tweeted out the same thing.

It's the bubbliest bubble that ever bubbled:

http://www.wsj.com/articles/daily-fantasy-sports-operators-await-reality-check-1441835630

Quote:
In the first half of the 2015 Major League Baseball season, just 1.3% of daily fantasy-sports players won 91% of the profits, according to Mr. Singer.

Quote:
Neither DraftKings nor FanDuel disputed Mr. Singer’s data but both said it doesn’t reflect their broader customer base across multiple sports leagues. FanDuel said more than one million users have won money on its site. Both companies also said they have taken steps to protect novice players such as creating beginner leagues and enabling users to block certain players.

“It’s also an entertainment product,” said FanDuel’s Mr. Eccles. “Just because you lose it doesn’t mean you want to stop playing.”

then why is every commercial showing obnoxious checks?
