Not being able to recognize a yellow Star of David patch with German on it indicates a cultural illiteracy that should preclude not only working in television but really any job that requires pants and a downtown commute. Just stultifying. |

Love that they screwed up the text apology! lol Here is the text of WGN’s apology: Last night we ran a story to recognize Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement. The artwork chosen to accompany the story came from a graphics image bank. Regrettably, we failed to recognize that the image was an offensive Nazi symbol. We are extremely embarrassed and we deeply apologize to our viewers and to the Jewish community for this mistake. Ignorance is not an excuse. Please know we are reviewing our in house policies and changes have already been made to make sure a hurtful oversight like this never happens again. Thank you for your understanding. We promise to do better. Everyone in the media hates Zell. Googl up the stories of him buying some movie studio. I dont think it wil come as a shocket to anyone Movie productions waste lotsa of money. Food, RV's etc. he tried to cut it all out and the actors stopped working for him. I think he backed out of that deal. |
