Assume, like it seems to be in the superman world most of the time, that he is the only superhero currently known.

On one hand, any sport he played would basically be over in terms of competitiveness.
On the other hand, I don't think we have any way of stopping someone from playing professional sports once they are of age. He would almost certainly win a court case requiring the NFL or MLB to allow him to play.

I guess you could classify him as a non-person but that seems kind of racist.

I say he would be banned from every sport, and so would Supergirl if she ever showed up, but she probably would suck at sports anyways and couldn't even beat up a fairly fit average male.

Then you get the Flash wanting to go out for track, Bruce Wayne on the Chess team, Aquaman challenging all kinds of swimming records and Wonder Woman dominating at the Olympics.

I'm assuming he is the only one, though it seems like that is changing, or did change before and was just never referenced in the movies before.

I think if we had a ton of superheroes then we would have a superhero league and a regular people league, and the regular people league would be full of people with "fundamentals" who "play for the love of the game" and don't deserve compensation.
