Anyone have experience repairing a gas oven? I have one where stove top is fine as well as the broiler. The problem is that the oven turns on but does not get hot enough. Any likely ideas like a thermostat or things like that? Easy to replace? If not, what are reasonable rates guys charge? |

I don't know for certain, but I'd weigh the price of getting a new oven against having it get repaired. |

Geez, BRick. I have a microwave question. It takes ours exactly one minute to start working. If you need to heat something for 30 seconds, you enter 90 seconds. Anyone heard of this? |

If your oven temp "hangs" but you still see a flame....most likely the ignitor. Easy to replace/and inexpensive. Quite literally plug n' play. |

My rule for appliances when they break: If you are planning on staying in that house for more than two years, just buy a new one. Pretty much all of these things are designed to last a very short time, plus you get new stuff and new stuff > old stuff. |

Our fridge kept leaking about a year ago. My wife went back to HH Gregg after 4 service calls didn't fix the issue. We got a bigger better fridge for free. (floor model) like new that works great. |
