This is to intentionally include and visibilize the Queer, Intersex and Asexual communities under our umbrella. I didnt ask if this changes or adds colors to the rainbow? Maybe they are still working on a Logo? Also running out of room in the parade! Plus need to reprint materials now.... "OK, before we change all the government sponsored reading materials and signs, would anyone else like to declare a sexual preference or identity we have missed?"

Who'd want to identify as a long abbreviation? "LGBTQIA" seems so alienating. It doesn't even mean anything. |

Guess I thought "queer" was derogatory, unless this inclusion is them "taking it back." |
