Bernie Sanders supporters showered Hillary Clinton's motorcade with 1,000 $1 bills as she arrived at George Clooney's house for a ritzy fundraising event Saturday night in Los Angeles.

Clinton was headed to an event with Hollywood big wigs, including Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw and Haim and Cheryl Saban. Tickets started at $34,000.

Clooney's next door neighbor, whose family founded the 99 Cents Only store chain, threw a competing fundraiser party Saturday night with tickets for $27. Attendees and protesters lined the street as Clinton arrived at Clooney's house.

Kasich seems like the only logical choice so I guess that's why he is losing.

His recent comment about young coeds avoiding parties with alcohol just sounded like a concerned dad. So of course the liberal press tried to make something out of it.

It might be past that. Capitalism might have run it's course.

Well, I can pretty much guarantee, if all their wealth were taken, it would have zero impact on our lives.

It would suck for them, however. If that's your objective, then you'll feel much better when you wake up in the morning enjoying your movement up the rungs of the wealth ladder.

You have more wealth than most of those 3.5 billion too. How much of your net worth can they have?

At least do this statistic with only Americans. I don't think we need Bernie Sanders because other countries are filled with people who are virtually penniless.

This group has almost limitless influence on the political process. They basically write the laws.

Who cares if you raise their taxes. Its HOW they are taxed that is the issue.

President of ABC, Inc. Probaby has a car, 2 houses, expense account, country club membership, etc etc all paid for for the corp he works (to the extent the IRS allows such deductions and even then probably paid for) and many times he can claim "I AM NOT TAKING A SALARY" at the same time he is compoundung the shares or options of the stock he will be taking and then only pay a Long Term gain on.

if you want to continue the corp tax structure as it is today, this is how it will always be.

Great idea is make political contributions NON TAX DEDUCTABLE above $500 per person and Corps CANT DONATE. Good luck making that happen, but would be a great place to start.

Unless somebody would like to illustrate how the Dems or the GOP are also going to take 60+ seats in the Senate, please spare me the lectures on how Bernie or Herr Trump or Rafael Cruz are gonna change anything. We're screwed for the foreseeable future no matter who wins.
