at least according to Charles Leehrsen. Hit and Run had a good interview with him about his biography of Cobb; Ty Cobb: A Terrible Beauty. He maintains, through extensive research, most all we know about Cobb was fabricated by Al Stump. I am looking forward to picking it up. I always heard the legend of Cobb was that he was an evil racist and he killed a guy. You're saying that's not true? Well, now he's less interesting. |
