There's 2 new tv shows based on the Onion newspaper. Onion Sportsdome and Onion News Network.

I haven't laughed this hard since Boilermaker Rick said Orton is better than Cutler.

Anyone else catch these?

I caught a few segments. Pretty funny and seems like they focus a lot of their jokes on sports.

The sports show is okay. I caught the premeire of the regular news show last week and was severely disappointed. I'll probably give it one more shot, and then I'm done.

The sports show has gotten progressively worse in the 3 weeks it has been on.

The news show wasn't bad.

This was left on my tv after Tosh last night and I thought it sucked. It reminded me of unfunny improv comedy. I don't think there is anything funny about the onion paper either. Real stories are funny, jokes are funny, making fake stories about semi real topics is not funny IMO.

The Onion Paper is good stuff. The stories that focus on fictional people are usually better though. These things don't necessarily translate well to TV though.
