Not as much charm as the first two... more 'sad' moments than joyful moments - Ned Beatty and Michael Keaton are fantastic - and it's a nice sendoff to the movie trilogy (hopefully).

It was better than 2. Thought it was mostly well balanced, but I could see saying a little sad. They plot was a little choppy at times kind of had a lot going on. Towards the end and the end was a little dark and heavy for a kid's movie but overall I really enjoyed it. So did my kids and the other adults I went with. I laughed out loud a few times and got that might want to cry feeling too.

Edit: That IMAX stuff sucks. Don't do it.

Took my kids yesterday. The one 4 year old spent the final 10 minutes crying constantly. :(

The kids loved it. The 3-D was pretty cool. Disney/Pixar always tries to make you sad. What's up with that?

I kind of thought they were all going to get melted down ...and then the happy ending would be that they would all be recycled to be one shiny new X-Box, to be released this Fall with marketing ties to Toy Story 4.

thinking of taking Tora to see it this week.

Does Ned squeal like a pig in the movie?

Do you mean for this movie or in general? I've seen two shitty movies @ an IMAX (Matrix 3 & Ocean's 13) and I can state unequivocally they didn't help cover-up the "blech".

In my 'defense' for Ocean's 13, it wasn't the movie I had intended on seeing; certain irritating circumstances made me change to it about 1/3 of the way through.

This was the first time I saw a movie like that and it made me a little dizzy after 20 minutes or so. I took off the glasses and watched it blurry but even the first 10 minutes when I was fine it looked weird. I guess the 3D TVs won't be for me.

While many of you were at good dolphin's Débutante Ball on Saturday, I was taking in the Autism "sensory friendly" screening of Toy Story 3. I don't think, overall, it was as good as the first, but probably better than the second.

The best scenes were also the "saddest" of sorts.

But, big thumbs down to Pixar on behalf of every parent in America who will no longer be able to throw out a single toy after kids watch this movie.

Dad: Hey, Junior, is it alright if I throw this toy robot out and condemn it TO THE FIERY DEPTHS OF HELL!!!

Kid: WAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

You should have seen Good Dolphin's dress.......it was just perfect!

We saw it on Friday. It was pretty good, not as good as the first one. I kept thinking to myself: If I would have shown up to college the first day and my roommate had a box full of his childhood toys........ :?

Normal... screw 3D.

Michael Keaton rocked as Malibu Ken.

I've been talking like Hugs-a-lot Bear all week. I looooove to hug.

Bump for just seeing this on Net Flix yesterday. Never saw the first 2 but I didnt have kids then either. Started watching it to see if it would occupy my 19 month old and it did for maybe 30 minutes but I watched the whole thing eventually. Goddamn thing made me tear up at the end, between that and the first 7 minutes of " Up" Im thinking of swearing off animated movies for awhile, they're just too damned sad. I could just be pre menopausal though.
