I really liked Loki in Thor. It's not often I find a villain believable, though it's not like I usually care that much in a superhero movie, but he was played and written pretty well.

Well, he was the villain in Avengers #1, in the 60s. Real question is, since this is based on the Ultimates (version of the Avengers), who was the first villain there? Geez, I'm thinking the Hulk was.

If you read Iron Man in the 70s, it was established that the armor helps cause insanity. (Geez, Iron Man 47-49, 1974? 73?) They had a green armor for the Guardsman that their Irish head of security dons, and starts going nuts.)

Kinda weird though to have a Skrull story without having the Fantastic Four.

It would get confusing with the same actor playing Captain America nd the Human Torch. Maybe he could pull it off.....mot sure...
