Its not that entertaining but the award definitely means something.


I usually watch the first ten minutes and last 10 minutes and see the other highlights on line

I watch the Emmys because I see the shows and actors that are nominated.

I saw "The Artist" at the Tivoli in Downers Grove last weekend and it was fantastic. Theater was also awesome. And Downers Grove wasn't so bad either. I also saw "Bridesmaids" on DVD and didn't much care for it. "The Artist" and Downers Grove should win most or all of the Oscars.

Also, I always watch these things thinking about the production values and wonder what's being said in the control room.

IDK why you won't watch it, I'm pretty sure you are a HUGE fan of the circle jerk.

I haven't seen any of the films nominated. That's unusual for me. I don't have the same level of interest in these awards as I did when I was younger. None of the movies look that interesting to me outside of The Descendants, The Artist and Moneyball. I'll still watch or DVR it for faster consumption at a later date.
