Almost forgot this is going to be on tomorrow evening at 8pm. I am sure there will be many replays.
He was at his height of his popularity when I was heading into junior high so i look forward to seeing
the old footage and maybe hear some stories I didn't know about. Short description by ESPN below.

A close look at two-sport athlete Bo Jackson and the creation of a legend. Even without winning a Super Bowl or World Series, Bo will forever be known as a cultural icon and one of the most famous athletes of all time. This film will examine the truths and tall tales that surround Jackson, and how his seemingly impossible feats captured our collective imagination for an all-too-brief moment in time.

I am pretty sure he does, although I don't know where or what he is doing these days.

He's a big hunter. He used to hunt on some of my neighbor's property quite a while back.

He was Frank Thomas' college teammate. Let it rip conspiracy theorists.

I didn't think he was on roids. More of a freak of nature. Bosworth on the other hand...

As I say with Frank, I don't believe he was on roids but it is hard for me to believe that a football player from an SEC school (and the most notorious of cheaters even within that conference) from that era did not take steroids.

Bo was a once in a generation freak athlete. He was good in track, baseball and football. Still has the greatest unofficial combine 40 time at 4.12 or some ridiculous shit like that. I think if he would have focused solely on football that he might have been the greatest rb to play the game

He was fun to watch in football. Baseball was beautiful too and it would have been fun if he focused solely on it. The singular achievement of some of his baseball plays were more impressive to me. But they weren't as celebrated. At about the 1:25 mark of the video he throws a ball from the warning track to home plate and nails Harold Reynolds.

He does live in Burr Ridge, next door to the daughter of a contractor I used to do a lot of work with.

I'll be DVR'n this for sure. Loved Bo.

My favorite Bo-Athlete move of all time was when he ran up the wall at the All-Star game.

I was in the RF stands when Bo hit a homer to put the White Sox in the AL Playoffs. Take that Sox fans!

It looked like it was going to be a popup to the SS. The SS even started to drift out into LF but the thing just kept carrying and carrying. I've never seen anything like it. It was a moonshot, a rainmaker.

Sorry about the Blue Jays that year. A shame.

Especially the way he broke down at the end of a shorter-than-woulda-thought career.

I don't think having a degenerative hip is really breaking down.

If you asked kids who Bo Jackson was they would say the guy who owns the Bo Jackson dome. That is all they know about him.

Bo Knows Steroids. Sorry. That said, I can't wait for this 30 for 30. I was a huge fan back in the day. My age, combined with ownership of the Bo "Black and White" card, made you a local celebrity with other little pubeless jerks.

I'm starting this now. If the Heisman overrun makes me miss the end on DVR, I won't be happy.

Great show. Tremendous natural athlete. I don't think he did steroids. Just a freak of nature and a great humble person as well. Married, kids, no issues, no BS.

Bo knows, and personifies, success.

You are both correct. This website is pretty awesome for stalking celebrity homes:

Bo Jackson was not Frank Thomas's college teammate. Bo is 5 years Frank's senior, Bo graduated in 1985 and Frank accepted a scholarship to Auburn in the Autumn of 1986.
