I can't believe they've made 6 of these and a 7th one is coming next year. I sort of think they jumped the shark after the 3rd or 4th one.

The movies are dumb fun.

Fast cars, racing, explosions, gun fights, fist fights, some hot chicks and on and on.

They also make money with Fast 6 making about 35 million more than Fast 5 over the first 5 days of release. The franchise has legs.

Total meathead shit. Keep it. Keep em all.

Saw #6 on Sunday and it was exactly as you described above...dumb fun. Great car chases and stunts (some of the stunts are ridiculous, but still....fun) great fight scenes, including a new chick that has serious skills and plenty of hot chicks. Worth the ticket.


Oh, and the ending introducing Jason Statham into the series was a nice plus. He's perfect for this.

The series underwent a plot shift starting from the 5th film. Instead of the movies' plots revolving around cars and races, it's now about Ocean's 11 type "jobs/heists" that take place within the franchise's hyper-masculine environment of cars/races/women/fights etc.
