Had a few laughs but overall it dragged. It seemed like they were ready to wrap it up a few times but just kept going because they were still under 90 minutes. It was schizophrenic in that it didn't know whether it wanted to be a frat movie or an adult comedy.

Rose Byrne is hot.

Indeed, directed by the late great John G. Avildsen trying to prove that he could shake the Rocky and Karate Kid formulaic sports movie thing.

except "karate kid" came years after "neighbors". i think one of alvidsen's best films is "joe".

Making Belushi the straight guy and Aykroyd the nut was brilliant.

We had this movie on VHS in the 80s. Watched it many times. Cult favorite of mine. Tim Kazurinsky stole the movie. Lots of funny dumb lines.
