Is coming back in 2016 on Showtime. Lynch and Frost are both in.

Should have left it alone. The show ran too long as it is.

Hush your mouf. Wild At Heart ruined the show. This time it is only Lynch and Frost. As much as I absolutely love the work of Inland Empire, it will be awesome to see a narrative by Lynch again. We all know this will still be anything like a traditional narrative of course but this has hope. You won't have the Windom Earle injection. Everyone involved has learned a thing or two since then.

i couldn't figure out what this meant at first. i thought, why are they waiting 2 years just to put "twin peaks" back on TV? then i found out the truth...

i'm kinda torn. i'd like to believe this will still be good. would be a good excuse to get showtime.

Cant disagree as they didn't seem to have a plan what to do after Laura Palmers killer was found out ( This was before a 4 yr plan of failure was acceptable mind you0 but man, it was some enthralling quirky TV when it hit. Plus Madchen Amick still holds a special place in my heart and much to Hank's pleasure as demonstrated in Dream Lover, has quite the thatch.

Madchen Amick, Sherilyn Fenn, and Lara Flynn Boyle before she got emaciated and weird. What a time to have been alive.

 I just looked at some recent Amick photos. I should've left the past where it belonged.

I wouldn't say she looks bad. But she was what, 18, 19 when she did the show?

Yeah Lynch and Frost handling everything makes this extremely promising. And as someone who thinks Inland Empire was the best thing Lynch has ever done, I'm excited to see any work by him again.

I've forgotten most of the story line as I never watched it on network TV. I did a watching orgy of it and recall that I liked it....whatever. dolphin doesn't wait in long lines for donuts or hot dogs and certainly doesn't anticipate watching a tv show in two years.

The original did get sputter once the Laura Palmer mystery was relieved - but up until then it was great. That's why I'm excited about this. From what I read it will be a 9 episode limited run series much like True Detective was.

I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on the closing scene of the finale, where Agent Cooper looks into the mirror and sees BOB.

Is this as simple as Lynch telling us that BOB really is some kind of malevolent spirit who is now inhabiting Cooper, or is there something more interesting at work here?

Wikipedia says it wasnt Cooper. It was his doppleganger from the lodge

When Cooper enters the bathroom and looks into the mirror, his reflection is Bob, revealing that he is Cooper's doppelgänger from the Black Lodge. He then rams his face into the mirror and, while laughing maniacally, repeatedly mocks his earlier question about Annie's condition.

While it may have been Black Lodge cooper as stated above the consensus is that BOB possessed cooper. Great scene IMHO. I am sure to an extent it will be addressed in the new series but after all it is Lynch.

The network forced the hand on this and lynch was off working on Wild at Heart. The lynch directed episodes are awesome to me #eroticlawyerlynchfanboy. The show clicked like same family guy and arrested development did, but networks killed it. easily could have been brought back a long time ago.

Inland is awesome. Not for everyone. It was so good but you can't make it an intro to lynch by any means. Mullholland just as surreal you can though. Odd

Lynch will Cast plenty of new eye candy for sure that is his thing. Ray Wise may be in it again and I hope so.

I must admit I still haven't seen the full footage of FWWM released earlier this year because I am a poser.

If any of you haven't seen the music video for Crazy Clown Time it is well worth your time.

Just rewatched the lynch/Louie episodes. Hell he set Seinfeld up for a joke. The industry hasn't passed him by. The new twin peaks should be good.
