Zachary, that pretty much describes all of the characters.
This is the biggest group of unlikable people ever assembled into one show I can remember, but I am still watching it.

i don't know about that; while the characters aren't made to be instantly likable, there are some genuine "people" in the cast. but this couple is just...repulsive.

it looks like this show's getting bumped after some bad ratings. it's not the most appealing show but i think it's interesting and i like that it's not what 80% of network shows are churning out...like csi: cyber. i mean, really...

i thought this ended strongly after a few weaker episodes. the weakest, hands down, was connie. rosie was pretty weak too, and i still didn't care for her one iota. connie's just felt strained. and even down to the song her dad wrote (i doubt it would've sounded like that, since we're talking it was recorded in the 90's sometime), it didn't work for me.

the final episode was one of the strongest. i really like the kid, and you can finally really relate to the struggle of a character who's pretty much an innocent. i like that it ended with a touch of warmth from hugo, that maybe there's hope for him. and i thought the sentencing was fair.

i did think things would've gotten more out of control. i suppose this is toned down for regular network. overall, i'd give it a pass because i did think it was always intriguing. i wanted to find out what happened ultimately. but there were some things left to be desired, and some of the other ways of closure fit a little too snugly or just left me unmoved.

some great performances too. quinto's best efforts were more in the first episodes than the final few. but he still did a damn fine job. it looks like this show will most likely be forgotten rather quickly. there was little hype in the final weeks for the finale, and it got mixed reviews from a lot of critics. plus, it getting moved to the 9 pm slot must've been because it was getting low ratings.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

Saw the last five minutes and couldn't help but think this is the type of case given to the most miserable lifer at the state's attorney's office. The kind of guy who prosecutes speeding tickets.

It was interesting but kind of boring. I felt this all could have been condensed to a 2 part TV movie. At least it was something different than the usual Cop procedural or wacky sitcom BS.
