I rented this the other night. DON'T WATCH IT. It's awful. There is no chemistry between Eric Bana and Drew Barrymore, and the poker scenes are almost unwatchable, either because they are predictable, or they just don't make sense.

Please don't watch this movie.

Explain the card scenes. Why don't they make sense? Did a pair beat a straight?

There were a few instances where one person at the table had another covered in chips. They would both go all-in, and the short stack would win and the other guy would be knocked out of the tourney. WTF??? This happened on more than one occasion.

You wanna know a bad movie? Try Happy Feet.

That is bad. I hate when directors try to short cut through scenes and assume that the common viewer won't catch it. Especially when the movie is based off a poker movie which would attract poker players to watch.

How about the movie Rounders? Where the supposed tell of KGB was when his oreo cookie didn't split perfectly. Do you think that the cookies knew when he was bluffing or not?

The tell was whether or not he ate the cookie.

I thought he only ate the cookie if all the filling stayed on one of the sides when he split it. Because the one he didn't eat wasn't a successful split.
