Yesterday,I purchased an online HD video of CREED. It was the 3rd movie I have purchased that sits "in the cloud" on my Amazon account.

Most of my movie/TV purchases are still DVD/Blurays (once they are marked down of course).

My question is do you guys prefer the traditional "own" or you just rent or own in the cloud?

All beta these days!

Had a DVD player, gave it away last year...and probably didnt use it for 3 years before that.

At some point might be good to get if you are a movie guy and collected stuff, but I am not...

I haven't bought one in 10 years. I'm not a movie person, and the movies I see are in the theater or Netflix / Amazon Prime. And even my favorite movies I've only ever seen like 3 or 4 times tops.

Just no need to own much "media" any longer; stream everything.

I will buy Blu rays, if they are $5, unless it is something that just came out and I want to watch it. I have been very resistant to the digital stuff, music and movies, but am slowly moving to it. I still like having a physical copy.

I don't think I've bought a DVD in about four years (A Serious Man). I still watch some MST3Ks and Kids in the Hall off DVD because they're not on Netflix.

Been a long time for me but I still can get sucked in by the 2.99 bargain bin.
