I've always enjoyed Robin Williams dramatic roles far more than his comedy parts. When he goes for gags its always over the top and obnoxious.

+1

Didn't much care for 1 hour photo however...

Good Morning Vietnam and Mr. Mom come to mind as some of his good comedies....

Not a Robin Williams fan at all....not even when Frank Caliendo does his impersonation of him. An unfunny guy doing his impression of another unfunny guy... Proof that two negatives don't make a positive.

But Robin Williams was very good in Good Will Hunting, the Birdcage, I thought One Hour Photo was too creepy but Williams, I guess, was good. Wasn't he a creepy guy in Insomnia too? ...and then there was that lame movie, Dead Poet's Society, that I was forced to watch in high school.
Ugh, sorry for the tangent. Long story short (too late), One Hour Photo...1 star.

Robin Williams looks a lot like Terri Garr there.

I think HHJ was thinking of Mrs. Doubtfire.

This movie is fantastic. I have always enjoyed the hairy comedian, and this role just proves how diverse his acting style can go.
