one of the most overrated people in history. He's made exactly one movie (clerks) that didn't suck. everything else is basically the same story over and over again complete with the same Star Wars debates in the dialogue.

"tusk" was what kinda brought me back to smith. i was getting stick of the shtick, especially after "dogma"; but "red state" intrigued me, and "tusk" was so audacious, it impressed me.

he gets way too fanboyish for me most of the time but i still think he can tell a good story when he wants to. i loved "chasing amy" back in the day. i still remember seeing "clerks" in the theater and being amused by the older people walking out.

One of these "proud to be fat!" folks learns the hard way why obesity is nothing to be proud of. Medical science is fairly clear on this. Glad someone got through to him. That's gotta be over 100 lbs lost. Its not easy to do, credit to him.
