I think the filmmakers could make it happen.

This is gonna be sick. I'm expecting it to win the Oscar for "Best Movie Ever Made".

i was definitely entertained by this but it's a really noisy, messy monster flick. the humans aren't as endearing as godzilla himself and we don't get to see as much of him as we saw of kong in "skull island". hopefully in the kong/godzilla vs. movie we'll get more of the king of the monsters.

still, i didn't find the humans as throwaways as much as others did. i liked seeing a family story and actually wished it was a little stronger. there could've been some good parallels. ken watanabe again was great, and the cast is pretty impressive.

there are some stunning visuals, including the individual shots of ghidorah that are amazing.

overall worth the price of admission. but i don't know if my theatre just had too high of treble and not enough bass but there were some ear piercing noises that you may have to plug your ears for. and it's not me just getting old because i can stand pretty loud shit. sometimes this just went over the top.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

Saw it today and was certainly entertained. I mean, it's monsters fighting each other how could you not be? I think I needed to know a little bit more of the whole Godzilla backstory and that of the other titans for the whole thing to make more sense. There were some stupid plot holes but I liked that the movie didn't take itself too seriously - it knows what kind of movie it is. It is loud and sometimes I think that made the dialogue a little hard to hear, almost like the intentionally muted the conversations so the monsters sounded louder. Looking forward to the next one.

Maybe it's recency bias but I don't know how King King stands a chance. Although with the during/after credits stuff I get a feeling that they actually team up.

Good thing it's actually King Kong that will be dropping elbows on Godzilla and not his retarded cousin King King.

Saw it last week, and I really loved all the monster/kaiju scenes.

But... There just was too much human story for me. I could have used some more lore explanations instead of family drama.

Ken Watanabe’s scene in the Atlantean Godzilla healing room was epic tho.

The fight scenes were very fucking good, and I am pumped for Kong vs. Godzilla.

Very sad to see Mothra go, but SPOILERS........

There is/was a scene planned with a Mothra egg.

Kong was a child in Skull Island. It’s been over 40 years since he was discovered, so he’s def had a growth spurt.

The team up is what MANY are speculating. It’s just who they are teaming up against is the question.

Reanimated Ghidorah, or maybe MechaGodzilla?

A couple Kaiju flattening a major metropolitan area is prolly one of the only things that would immediately stop the American sensitivity epidemic.
