I loved it. My wife thought it was a bit slow. Sorry, honey, I didn't take you to a marvel movie. At least it had the actress she liked from Downton Abbey.

It's slow only because it is a guy telling a story in narrative form. I thought the story was excellent. The acting was superb. Mc Conaghy has been transformed as an actor since Dallas Buyer's Club. He is consistently great and probably would be considered one of the best actors of our time if not for his decade or so run as a himbo. I was not familiar with the true lead's, Charlie Hunnam, work but I thought he was incredibly strong. I know he is a dandy but I have always liked Hugh Grant's work and I think he is also getting stronger with age.

I would highly recommend this. I'll put in the category of great gangster movie.
