You know a scary movie is good when they release a trailer of it during prime scary movie season but won't release the actual movie until after New Years.

Scream is maybe my favorite slasher film. Wes got the whole making fun of the genre tongue in cheek thing. 2 was ok through the cold open, but then everything has been to thin in the franchise since then, well the ridiculous open in 4 which let you know, we aren’t taking this seriously lol.

Arquette looks the least annoying he ever has, the main actors looks less campy. I don’t have great expectations. This franchise has always needed Billy Loomis and Stu, and Cotton Weary. I will see this still though so whatever.

I never bothered with the show though, is it any good? I assumed it wasn’t and had little to do with the universe outside of ghost face killer and maybe a voice changer.
