Rewatching this series and it's just brilliant. Show seems to get lost in the mix these days but I put it right up with Sorpanos and The Wire.

I had never watched it during its original airing. I have finished two seasons and really enjoy it. Freddy looked so familiar but I couldn't remember where I'd seen him and he had an obvious Chicago accent. He is one of the Murray brothers. I wish they hadn't written him off. I think he played an important role in ushering in transition. He was a guy entirely from a past which was dying, but he was different from the others with both a heart and vision.
