episodic show about a company who, if the employee chooses, perform a surgery that entirely compartmentalizes work life from home life in the person's mind. In the outside world, people are protesting the procedure. All of the severed employees work on sub floors to a big office building, doing work for which there seems to be no purpose and fighting for trivial rewards. Also, departments within are compartmentalized from each other.

Kafkaesque. It moves VERY slowly. I think we all understand the feeling of pointlessness in work. Of course we get to the nefarious plans of the company in later episodes. The season ends without ever really getting to the meat of the story. Obviously, with the cast and production team, they knew they would have time to tell the story. However, it seems like a strange telling of the story to end a season not a cliffhanger, but more on never having told the substance of the story at all.

like Kindred, an interesting concept. I'll give this my recommendation as well.

I'm too stupid to watch such high brow art. It would be completely wasted on the likes of me. I'll continue with The Walking Dead and the White Sox.
