They did a thing to them and then they got made at them and they accused them of causing harm to them.

Reads just fine.

Hah wow I hope these kids aren’t too scarred by high box office numbers or whatever. Whatever helps WB’s bottom line, that’s the most important thing.

It’s all Josh Whedon or Zack Snyder’s fault presumably.

There is a big push for that on social media.

this is another angle men can take. abuse people and commit heinous crimes? just come out as non-binary, and all is forgiven.

It was looking at a big opening until a few weeks ago when it dropped off a cliff. It had serious production issues and nobody really knows what the production budget ended up being after all the re-shoots. Its going to flop its just a matter of by how much. I don't know if this is going to get positive word of mouth like Guardians. It seems it has a lot going against it since the first half of movie isn't just one Ezra Miller there are two of them.

More like it was intended after Warner pulled the plug on us. I wonder if there are any floating heads like Thor Love and Thunder.

studio must be happy with Muschietti. They're giving him a Batman movie. "Brave and the Bold"

We'll have to see how things look when the dust settles. Warner has a mega flop in Flash and 2 more in the pipeline. They can't absorb many more losses like this. They might just let Gunn do his Superman then pull the plug on the whole thing. I guess they could keep doing Joker movies.

Its funny how Disney and Warner have the same problem with Fleabag and Ezra Miller. These 2 are cancer. It sounds like Flash could have been interesting if they had a writer with the chops to pull it off. I read they had 12 writers working on this script at various points.

The Flash as a character is like the Hulk. You can not make a solo film. The opening Flash scene, was TERRIBLE.

I would have been willing to write it if they asked.

I watched the live-action TV show in the 1970s.

I had a 2nd viewing of this today. Maybe not terrible, but it was average. It was just hyped up a little. I wish they would of done more with Keaton.

I am in the minority, but I really enjoyed The Flash. It looked as though DC cut corners on some of the CGI, though most was pretty well done, especially the Batcave and plane. Miller's personal issues notwithstanding, I thought he did an admirable job carrying the film, though Keaton ultimately stole the show. The music was excellent, particularly the callbacks to Elfman's 1989 score. And despite another "multiverse" storyline, this was easy to follow and done better than recent Marvel attempts. Zod kind of felt like a placeholder villain, but the film's primary urgency and emotion was between Barry Allen and his parents.

I don't see another standalone Flash movie being made for a long time, but I'd be fine if Miller continued to participate in other Justice League mashups.

I wonder why this one flopped so badly. A lot of people made decision they were going to pass on this one. I wonder how much of it is the movie and how much of it is Ezra Miller.

on a multiverse related note, watched the 1989 Batman and Returns the other weekend...they kinda are not very good.

The first Batman sucks, even though I like Keaton. I disliked Nicholson's Joker (and Ledger's and Phoenix's, for that matter).

No one has ever gotten the Joker right in a movie.

It seemed like there was a good movie in there they just made a lot of mistakes. I don't know why the fight scenes are in daylight for instance. It just makes the vfx look worse and Batman looks cooler at night. I thought the cameos when they are travelling thru time sounded like they could have been really cool but they didn't put any effort into that it seems. The vfx guy said they found those images on Youtube then cleaned them up for the movie. The guy that was old flash said they used his image without even asking.

I'm still kind of tempted to see it but the Ezra Miller nude scene...its like they wanted this to fail. Who in the hell thought that was a good idea?

saw this last week. Bad movie, but at least it was entertaining enough to make it to the end. My wife had no idea what was going on with the confusing story. I've read and seen this exact same story a few times already since it's been done to death and even I had no clue what was going on at times.

Made no sense that they would go with this storyline after it's been used so many times including an entire season of the WB show recently.

Especially at at time when EVERYONE is going down the multiverse path. Jesus, they even introduced the multiverse into this season's of Big Brother I shit you not.

And to top it all off, they went back in time and ruined the original Batman movies by having Zod wipe everyone out on that Earth. Enjoy going back and rewatchign those knowing their doomed fate.

Bad movie overall, hugely missed opportunity. 60% movie.
