psychological horror that came out in the second half of last year. Two young lady mormon missionaries come to the wrong house, of a guy who has developed some strong takes on religion after a lifetime of searching.

I cannot tell if the writers think they are deeper than they are or if they wrote the character to have a wide but shallow understanding of religions. He challenges the ladies with some Bill Maher level atheism. The unsettling situation throws them off but they do respond to him fairly well. I kind of don't understand the movie, because he has an elaborate system to play gotcha with religious people but it doesn't deter them. He resorts to incomprehensible metaphysics.

I thought the acting was well done, with the two women and Hugh Grant taking up 90% of the film. Grant really has developed into a good actor from his early himbo days.

I think it had an appropriate level of scare and it kept me interested. I would recommend.
