Trailer looks good and early reviews are very promising. This project is interesting as it started as sort of being a reboot of ER, but the producers had disagreements with Crichton's widow so they branched off and made their own show, but it's from the creative time behind ER and stars Wyle, who we'll just call Carter even if the show can't call him that without getting sued.

This is basically an ER reboot in everything but name and looks to be good.

Thank goodness we're finally getting another hospital drama since there haven't been any since ER.

This one is looking to do something different where the first season will be 15 episodes where each episode will be one hour of a single shift so we won't have any of the stupid out of the hospital soap opera drama that ruins many of these shows.

ER lasted 15 seasons and had turned into a Lifetime series by the Season 6 or7.

I would say that it happened after S8. Basically it became a spinoff show of itself after that. But still watchable through the end.

I’m looking forward to giving this a try.

I thought the first hour started a bit slow but came together by the end. Will definitely keep watching. Noah Wyle is a good central character and holds it together (with some shades of Carter still).

Fiona Dourif was almost unrecognizable compared to her roles in “Chucky” related stuff.

Decent start. It has this teenage kid in it that plays the exact same teenage kid in everything.

Not true… It has given us Walmart, Hawger and Ogie!

Edit: Never mind.

pretty good through 3 episodes, the 3rd being stronger than the 2nd. some of the characters are drawn a bit strong (garcia pushing to be the new girl's friend to get a good word because of her mom...?) but the casework makes up for some of the flaws.

i had no idea we had translator screens but i guess they definitely come in handy when people can't speak the language of certain patients.

The show is crack cocaine and intensely watchable, more so than anything in quite some time. But man the tropes are out of control.

it wore me out after about 6 episodes; unlike "ER", the characters just weren't developing and the stories were superficial. i wanted to like it for noah wyle's sake because he's about the only character that was 3 dimensional.

i think the hourly 24-style real-time thing became more of a hindrance as it went on. maybe do one episode like that, like "ER" had done...but the whole show, it just felt off.
