The Discovery Channel were pioneers of the "people doing work" sub-genre of reality television. "PDW" hit its initial peak with the second season of Deadliest Catch, but Stormchasers might actually top that show. I don't think writing up an in-depth synopsis would be a good idea considering I unknowingly watched it all out of order, but the new season features quite a bit of drama (i.e. nerdy in-fighting) and a vague cinematic quality that earlier seasons appear to have lacked. If you're a fan of science, storms, and big sky, you'd do well to give this one a shot.
