Kind of like the resistance meeting. The "V"'s first attack is a floating ball that can "see" the people and explode to shoot out projectiles of some kind. Pretty advanced. Wave 2 of the attack is the alien's running in and screaming like they are in 'Braveheart'. Most the V die. How about sending in 5 or 6 more of the floating things....

those floating things just arent getting the job done. they look pretty sophisticated, but they just cant finish the job like "the tall man's" flying orbs in the "Phantasm" movies. now THAT was an orb that packed a punch.

I did record the show the other day, and I did LOL when one of the T-shirts read "I love V"

God im 12 sometimes.

A ship that size would be spotted well before it ever reached earth. Even if it was traveling at light speed it would need a distance the length of the solar system to slow down. I suppose they are traveling by means of a wormhole, but even that would require some room for staging.

I got through the first 15 minutes and then changed the channel. Unless some
reviews pop up here during the season that reveal this to be an awesome series,
I think I just saved myself a few hours of my life watching it.

Anyone that thinks the show is going too fast must be on meds.

They take an hour-long show to tell about 5 minutes' worth of story. The show plods along like Ditka with a walker. I dislike the majority of the cast/characters, and to quote our buddy Peter Griffin, I find the show to be shallow and pedantic.

Having said that, I've watched 2 shows, and there's only 2 more left before it goes on break 'til when ... March? ... so I'll likely give it at least the calendar year.

All I know is whoever was hyping this show before it aired must have a briefcase full of payola for their efforts.

I kinda like it. The real fun in this is in the Resistance Movement... not the "reveal" of the aliens. I think they have plenty to work with still. When is the Freddy Kreuger dude going to show up????

This show is in big trouble. They only filmed 4 episodes and the plan is to start filming again and then have the show come back in May. Btw, is that the dumbest plan you've ever heard of? Who the fuck wants to get into a show for 4 episodes and then have it go on a hiatus for 6 months?

Anyway, if ratings are any indication this show might not make it back to production. Epsidoe 1 did an impressive 15 million viewers, but obviously that was due to the hype machine. The real test was going to be episode 2. Well, V failed that test as the ratings dropped all the way to 10 million viewers which means they lost 1/3 of their viewers in 1 week.

It will be interesting to see if that trend continues or if this show finds its niche audience. I have a hard time believing they will bring this back if the show continues to lose viewers every week.

Am I in the minority? I'm finding the show entertaining. Yes there's parts that could have been written better but I'm still digging it. Its really disappointing ABC only did 4 shows to take a 6 month break. That's completely retarded.

Last night was awful. I'm done.
